Get to know the role:

The candidate will be responsible for carving out strategies and driving the full execution of said strategies; to achieve various predefined goals of the company. Broadly, the role will involve :

• Working closely with numbers and leveraging data from different sources to assess business impact, ideate and support suggested strategies

• Overseeing & executing large/complex projects. Ie. End-to-end planning of how a project will be executed, being accountable for timelines, working with cross-functional teams & measuring/monitoring key metrics of various strategic projects.


A strong candidate should have the following:

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently uncover business insights for action. Bonus if the candidate is proficient in SQL language

• Possess the ability to manage multiple stakeholders (even amongst senior levels) and be quick to develop an understanding of operational constraints and nuances

• Strong project management & stakeholder management capabilities

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Be able to navigate around ambiguity and triangulate various views to conceptualize ideas and drive them to execution

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically.

• Highly adaptive to a dynamic business environment and able to pick up concepts (especially around Retail, FMCG and B2B) quickly.

• Comfortable operating in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

• Ability to balance detail with quick execution


The ideal candidate should also demonstrate a strong sense of curiosity and willingness to learn.


Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning & Problem Solving:

  • Independently develop strategic plans and initiatives to drive the achievement of company goals
  • The candidate should also stay updated with industry trends and competitive landscape to make informed strategic recommendations
  • Adapt and pivot strategies when necessary, demonstrating comfort in dealing with ambiguity and uncertain situations
  • Ability to take complex problems and break them into actionable solutions (backed by data)

Analytics:

  • Work closely with numbers to analyze data and metrics, identify trends, and extract insights o Triangulate large amounts of data from different sources to gain a holistic understanding of the business
  • Measure the impact and effectiveness of strategic projects, using data-driven insights and metrics to evaluate success

• Project Management:

  • Responsible for driving the end-to-end execution of strategic projects. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams for implementation, providing support and guidance throughout the process
  • Roll up your sleeves and actively participate in the execution of projects, working closely with team members and taking ownership of tasks as needed
  • Identify and address any challenges or roadblocks that may arise during project execution, proactively finding solutions to ensure smooth implementation

• Communication & Stakeholder Management:

  • Communicate progress & results of key projects and/or insights and clearly articulate recommendations to stakeholders and senior management


You should have:

• Minimum 6 years of working experience in related field (strategy, consulting & retail)

• Work experience in and/or familiarity with F&B, Retail or B2B Management is a plus. Bonus if the candidate has experience in performance marketing and user lifecycle management

• Preference for previous working experience in fast-growing/ tech company

• Strong analytical abilities - SQL proficiency a plus

• Strong ability to collaborate and align with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership

• Prior experience in project management
