Assistant Manager - Fresh Market Growth & Project

Duties & Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Business Performance
• Support development and execution of Fresh Market business strategies to drive sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
• Analyze category performance, sales trends, customer behavior, and operational KPIs to identify growth opportunities and business gaps.
• Partner with Category Managers and Operations teams to improve assortment performance, promotions effectiveness, pricing execution, and in-store availability.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis to support commercial decision-making.
Marketing Campaigns & Trade Marketing Initiatives
• Lead and coordinate Fresh Market promotional campaigns, seasonal activations, and trade marketing initiatives to drive customer traffic and sales conversion.
• Work closely with Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations teams to ensure strong in-store campaign execution and customer engagement.
• Develop strategies to strengthen Fresh Market positioning, freshness perception, and category differentiation.
• Coordinate launch plans for festive campaigns, fresh product promotions, supplier collaboration programs, and thematic events.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders on joint business plans, promotional activities, and trade support initiatives.
Project Management & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Manage end-to-end strategic projects including planning, execution, stakeholder alignment, issue resolution, and post-project review.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, risks, and KPIs to ensure execution quality.
• Prepare management presentations, project updates, and executive reports for leadership reviews.
• Facilitate workshops, alignment meetings, and operational review sessions.

Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Retail Management, Marketing, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, commercial strategy, trade marketing, business transformation, or project management.
• Experience in FMCG, supermarket, retail, or Fresh Market operations is preferred.
• Experience in marketing campaigns, trade marketing, or commercial activation projects is an advantage.
• Strong commercial and operational understanding of retail business.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Experience in performance analysis, business planning, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Need to work in non-halal environment
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-driven, hands-on, and capable of collaborating across cross-functional teams.
