Get to know the role:
We are seeking a dynamic F&B Expansion Executive to support the development and scaling of new food & beverage concepts. This role will work closely with the expansion, operations, and culinary teams to launch new outlets, food hall concepts, and ready-to-eat offerings.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of F&B industry experience and a strong understanding of kitchen operations, menu execution, and outlet setup. Candidates with hands-on experience as a line cook or chef will have an advantage. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building new concepts from the ground up, coordinating cross-functional teams, and translating food ideas into scalable retail experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

F&B Concept Development
Support the development and rollout of new F&B concepts, including food halls, specialty counters, and ready-to-eat offerings.
Assist in menu development, recipe standardisation, and operational feasibility assessments.
Oversee procurement of equipment, raw materials, and initial inventory for the business launch (where applicable).
Work with chefs and culinary partners to refine food offerings suitable for scale.

Outlet & Kitchen Setup
Coordinate the setup of new kitchens and food outlets, including layout planning, equipment selection, and operational workflow.
Ensure kitchen processes are efficient, safe, and scalable across locations, inclusive of equipment and facilities are maintained and functional to prevent disruptions
Support pre-opening activities including testing, soft launches, and operational readiness.

Operations & Process Optimisation
Develop and document SOPs for kitchen operations, food preparation, and service flow.
Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements for productivity and food quality.
Work closely with outlet teams to troubleshoot operational issues.

Supplier & Product Coordination
Coordinate with suppliers for ingredients, equipment, and packaging requirements.
Assist in sourcing ingredients aligned with menu concepts and cost targets.
Monitor inventory levels, supplier/business partner’s performance, and necessary procurement processes to ensure cost efficiency, quality and supply stability.

Project Coordination
Support cross-functional collaboration between senior management team, operations, leasing, marketing, and store teams.
Track project timelines and ensure milestones are achieved for new outlet launches.
Develop budgets and financial projections and monitor expenditures to ensure cost control and profitability, in collaboration with the supervisor.
Assist in pilot testing and scaling successful F&B concepts.
Monitor market research & analysis, industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Monitor industry developments and recommend strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Analyze data to assess the feasibility and profitability of new ventures or initiatives.

Monitor inventory levels, supplier/business partner’s performance, and necessary procurement processes to ensure cost efficiency and quality.

Compliance & Quality Control (Suppliers/Business Partners)
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including food safety, hygiene, health regulations, and safety standards.
Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure consistency and excellence.
Maintain and update documentation for regulatory inspections and audits.

You should have:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in F&B operations, restaurant, café, or food production environment.
Experience in kitchen operations/workflows or line cook/chef role and multi-outlet/expansion projects is highly advantageous
Deep understanding of the F&B market, food preparation processes, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - operations, chefs, and suppliers
Ability to travel frequently to different regional locations as required.
Hands-on and willing to work on-site during outlet launches
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on operational needs.
Strong commitment to quality and operational excellence, with a focus on achieving results and meeting KPIs.
