Get to know the role:
Arrange delivery route planning as well as working closely with supervisors & drivers in order to complete deliveries for the day. Liaise with Distribution Centre staffs to ensure smooth loading process and timely delivery of goods to our outlets.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Route Planning & Dispatch: Plan, allocate, and assign daily delivery schedules and routing for in-house drivers and external transporters to maximize efficiency and meet strict delivery requirements.
- Roster Management: Prepare and manage accurate monthly working shift schedules for the in-house driving team.
- Distribution Supervision: Oversee both local and outstation goods distribution to ensure timely delivery to stores.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Liaise closely with Outlet Receiving teams, Distribution Centres (DC) and HQ staffs on all delivery requests and arrangements.
- Fleet Attendance Tracking: Monitor internal systems (GPS/TMS) to track driver’s daily delivery routes in real-time and manage their daily attendance records.
- Administrative Support: Handle logistics-related office administrative duties as assigned by your superior.
- Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform general operational functions and tackle ad-hoc logistics assignments as they arise.
