Get to know the role:
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and manage all aspects of foreign worker administration. This includes responding to information requests from government agencies such as the Labour Department, Immigration and embassies regarding foreign workers. The role involves preparing and processing KDN applications, reporting on newcomers' status and handling reports for resigned or absconded foreign workers. The position also entails conducting orientation programs for new foreign employees and managing documentation for incoming and outgoing workers or expatriates.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to information requests from the Labour Department, Immigration, MIDA, and other government agencies regarding matters concerning foreign workers.
- Prepare necessary documents for KDN applications including new applications & COM replacement and monitor the arrival dates after KDN approval.
- Report to JTK about newly arrived foreign workers within fourteen (14) days from their arrival date.
- File reports at the Police Station and JTK for foreign workers who have resigned or absconded within thirty (30) days from the date of resignation or abscondment.
- Conduct orientation programs for new Foreign Workers to familiarize them with the company's policies and procedures.
- Handle the documentation process for incoming foreign workers or Expatriates, as well as those departing for home leave or at the end of their contract.
- Perform any other relevant duties assigned or requested from time to time.
