Providing leasing expertise for a diverse portfolio, including retail stores, dark stores, office space (HQ), supporting both existing operations and future expansion.
Supporting the company’s growth strategy, including the opening of new stores and locations as the business continues to scale.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including landlords, brokers, tenants, and internal teams, to facilitate smooth and successful leasing transactions.
To support and oversee a current portfolio comprising approximately 65 retail stores including 3 dark stores & 2 DC, 1 corporate office (HQ), while preparing the leasing function for ongoing expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
Leasing Strategy & Portfolio Management:
Develop and implement a comprehensive leasing strategy that maximizes occupancy rates, optimizes rental yields, and strengthens tenant retention across the company’s property portfolio.
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and expansion.
Oversee the development and execution of marketing and leasing plans for new properties and existing assets, ensuring alignment with the company’s brand and business objectives.

Stakeholder Management & Relationship Building:
Build and nurture relationships with property owners, developers, tenants, brokers, and other external stakeholders to facilitate leasing transactions and ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
Collaborate with internal teams, including property management, finance, legal, and/or marketing, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of leasing activities.
Able to lead leasing negotiations, resolving conflicts and addressing concerns to maintain positive relationships and achieve leasing targets.

Financial & Performance Management:
Assist in preparing and tracking rental income budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve financial and commercial targets.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to occupancy, rental income, and tenant performance, leveraging data-driven insights to support informed strategic decision-making.
Implement initiatives to enhance profitability and optimize the financial performance of the property portfolio, balancing rental rates with sustainable occupancy levels.

Lease Negotiation & Transaction Management:
To support major lease negotiations, ensuring terms are favourable and aligned with the company’s strategic and financial objectives. Perform renewal of current & new tenancies.
Review lease agreements, coordinating with legal and compliance teams to ensure all documents adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies.
To support and manage the end-to-end leasing process & lease documentation, from initial tenant engagement and proposal preparation to lease execution and tenant on boarding.

Market Research & Tenant Mix Optimization:
Conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changing customer preferences.
Use market insights to inform tenant mix strategies, ensuring a balanced and diversified portfolio that enhances the attractiveness and profitability of each property.
Evaluate the performance of existing tenants and recommends leasing strategies as needed to optimize tenant retention and portfolio performance.

You should have:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Law or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in commercial/retail leasing or real estate,
Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to manage leasing transactions with positive attitude and is a good team player
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the confidence and credibility to engage landlords, tenants, developers, and external partners.
Proficiency in leasing and property management systems, with experience in reporting, data analysis, and performance tracking.
Excellent presentation, organizational and analytical skill
