Duties & Responsibilities
- Meets with the hiring manager to obtain understanding of the job description and ascertain minimum and preferred qualifications.
- Determines the best method to fill the identified vacancies. Prepares job advertisements to source for suitable candidates.
- Determines the job-skill sets for the job and determine the interview questions to verify with candidates.
- Interview potential candidates and select the most qualified for further review as necessary by hiring managers.
- Administer or coordinate validated pre-employment test.
- Conduct reference checks on selected candidates, before offer of employment.
- Establish and maintain rapport with Government agencies, Universities, Schools and Colleges for recruiting plans for graduates and school leaver candidates.
- Identify placement for new hiring candidates based on the vacancies available in outlets.
- Conduct exit interviews to determine reason for resignation, and apprise company management for any significant trend, such as performance problems, training and career pathing and pay practices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
