Get to know our Team:
The Business Automation team works with stakeholders across all business functions in Jaya Grocer to drive continuous improvements. The team is responsible to streamline and automate business processes to support the business growth.

Get to know the Role:
This role requires the candidate to develop an understanding of Jaya Grocer’s business and finance processes to surface opportunities to automate tedious, repetitive tasks and create streamlined automated workflows. She/He will be closely engaged with the business and finance team to understand operational needs and limitations and develop automated solutions to drive process efficiency.

A strong candidate should have the following:
Ability to collaborate with business and finance teams to understand business processes and distill user requirements to develop automation solutions.
Have the ability to design and implement automation solutions using tools including but not limited to Python, JavaScript, VBA and MySQL. Excellent agile development and prioritization skills will be very helpful to excel in this role.
Highly adaptive to a dynamic business environment
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders and quick to develop an understanding of operational constraints and nuances
Ability to crack codes in different environments, whether cloud or local

The ideal candidate should also demonstrate a strong sense of curiosity and willingness to learn.

The day-to-day activities:
Participate in user interviews to understand business processes and distill user requirements.
Design and implement software robotics and process automation.
Conduct post-implementation User Testing, gather feedback and roll out automation updates governed by clear documentation and git-style version control
Analyze, document and reengineer business/finance processes in scope for automation and robotics
Help cultivate the knowledge base for robotics and process automation and prepare to lead the growth of capabilities in this area

The must haves:
3+ years of professional experience in programming (including scripting/coding).
Hands-on experience in any of the programming languages like Python, JS and VBA.
Strong logical programming skills and experience in post production support.
Understanding docker or containerization will be a big plus.
Agile development and prioritization using any tools like MS-TFS, Trello, JIRA will be a big plus.
Having prior experience working in Finance is an added advantage.
