Get to know the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Executive - Grocery Procurement Non Food (Assistant Buyer) to support the buying team in managing daily purchasing operations for FMCG trade categories. This role focuses on data accuracy, purchase order coordination, and inventory monitoring to ensure smooth stock availability across warehouse and retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support buyers in preparing and processing purchase orders and basic supplier documentation

  • Maintain and update product information, pricing, and supplier records in the system

  • Ensure accurate data entry and integrity of purchasing and inventory records

  • Monitor stock levels and highlight low stock or overstock situations to buyers

  • Track order status with supplier and supply chain team

  • Coordinate with warehouse and outlets to support stock replenishment and distribution

  • Assist in preparing basic reports on sales, stock levels, and purchasing activities

  • Maintain proper filing and documentation for purchasing records

  • Support the team in resolving simple discrepancies related to orders or stock


You should have:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Retail, or related field

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in data handling

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Table)

  • Exposure to FMCG retail or inventory-related work

  • Basic understanding of stock replenishment processes

  • Ability to interpret simple sales and inventory reports

  • Good organizational and coordination skills

  • Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment
