Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Projects & Execution
Support end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives (e.g. new store launches, pilots, operational revamps, new concepts, tech rollouts).
Translate high-level strategy into clear project plans, timelines, and action steps.
Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes; escalate issues proactively.
Prepare project updates, dashboards, and post-implementation reviews.
Operational Excellence
Identify opportunities to improve store operations, workflows, and processes.
Work closely with Operations teams to test, refine, and scale operational improvements.
Support SOP development, rollout planning, and adoption tracking across stores.
Retail Experience Innovation & O2O Integration
Drive and support tech-enabled retail innovation initiatives across in-store and online touchpoints, including AI-driven solutions, smart trolleys, in-store robotics, and emerging retail technologies.
Support O2O integration by working with Operations, E-commerce, IT, and Marketing to enhance omnichannel journeys, fulfilment efficiency, and in-store–digital connectivity.
Coordinate pilots and rollouts of new tools or services, ensuring operational readiness, store adoption, and scalability.
Track adoption and business impact of innovation and O2O initiatives, translating insights into optimisation and scale-up recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a coordination hub between HQ teams and Store Operations team (Ops, Marketing, IT, Finance, Merchandising, HR, etc).
Align stakeholders on priorities, timelines, and success metrics.
Support vendor and partner coordination where required.
Data, Insights & Reporting
Analyse operational and project data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Track KPIs related to productivity, efficiency, cost savings, and project impact.
Prepare concise insights and present findings to the Senior Leadership Team with actionable recommendations.
Strategic Rollout, Change Enablement & Communication
Support internal communications related to new initiatives, changes, or pilots.
Assist with training coordination, briefing materials, and rollout toolkits for store teams.
Gather feedback from ground teams and feed insights back into project refinements.
You should have:
Experienced strategic operations/projects professional: You already have at least 4-5 years of relevant experience in operations, project management, marketing, strategy, retail, FMCG, or transformation-related roles.
Proactive and data-driven: Self-starter with an analytical mindset, able to structure work independently, identify growth opportunities through customer insights, and proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and basic project tools.
Solutionist mindset: Strategic problem-solver with strong commercial acumen, able to translate key business drivers into compelling customer value propositions, with solid understanding of operational processes and on-ground execution.
Great collaborator: Proven experience supporting or managing cross-functional projects from planning through execution. Innovative and contributive - loves to be part of the creative process, brainstorming and challenging the norm. Able to navigate complexities, influence and persuade approval to get things moving.
Highly organized, detail-oriented and meticulous: Enjoys improving processes to achieve day-to-day efficiency and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Thrives in an ultrafast-paced tech/digitally-inclined environment. Quite the perfectionist.
