Get to know the role:
Manage the day-to-day
operations of the company retail outlet. Ensure excellent customers’ shopping
experience and a positive image of the Jaya Grocer Brand. Set the tone daily and motivates employees in
enhancing customer satisfaction,
meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations with maintains inventory by
checking merchandize to determine inventory level and anticipating
customer demand.
- Maintain high standard for store appearance and visual
merchandising as well as product freshness.
- Supervise the implementation of all sales promotion
and marketing plans including all signature programs.
- Working with Operation Manager to develop in store
promotion programs to raise customers pool, expand store traffic and
optimize profitability
- Trains and reviews all staffs job performance and
promoting an effective performance team
- Meeting sales and profitability goals, delivery of
customer satisfaction and enhancing the Jaya Grocer Brand image.
- Provide feeding back on buying trends, customer needs
and competitor activities.
- Ensure compliance with all legislative, regulatory and
company policies as they pertaining to food handling, and other food
safety guidelines.
- Other duties and
responsibilities assigned by Company from time to time.
You should have:
- Minimum 7 years working
experience as operation/supervisor in retail industry
- Required language(s):
Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Basic communication
skills and interpersonal skills
- Customer satisfaction
oriented
- Able to work
independently with minimum supervision
