Non Trade, Executive

1) Job Summary:

Through effective negotiation, networking and dealing with numbers, the Non-Trade Supplies Buyer is contributing to the company in controlling cost and increase profits. Also to deal with other factors such as environmental sustainability, risk management and ethical issues.


2) Role and Responsibilities:

i. Forecast levels of in-store usage of a range of packaging / display materials and products used in a retail store.

ii. Keep a constant check on stock levels.

iii. Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.

iv. Negotiate on the quotation & liaise between suppliers and manufacturers.

v. Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.

vi. To be the check and balance for both Non Trade Packaging and Non Trade Asset.

vii. Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.

viii. Ensure suppliers are aware of business objectives.

ix. Process payments and invoices.

x. Prepare quarterly and yearly report on Non Trade usages for all outlets/group

xi. Perform any other duties in general operational functions and ad-hoc assignments.
