Bakery Assistant - Production

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for bakery production from start to end based on the assigned schedule to fulfil the daily production requirements that have been identified.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run a full production day from mixing to forming to baking in order to meet key timelines.
  • Consistently produce the highest quality of all baked goods and report any issues to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain the usage of all central kitchen equipment and machinery according to the company guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean workstation in accord with food handling standards and company guidelines.
  • Take note when supplies are running low so that an order can be made.
  • Assist in general operation functions and ad-hoc assignments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates must possess at least vocational certificate (SKM) in bakery, pastry or any relevant courses.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in bakery or patisserie.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Friendly, helpful and engaging personality.
  • Meticulous, proactive and food hygiene.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
